Default Milk

Though I have everything in containers, my plants are still growing pretty well. I’ve actually pulled some tomatoes from the plant I bought a while ago, and the first bell peppers are about the size of golf balls now. And we have more basil than I know what to do with, though Sara would use it up in a day if she could. I’ve been trying to take a few more pictures lately, and I’ve been enjoying that but I feel like I never have any time in my day to do anything fun.

I think I’ll go on a long run today.

It might not be the best photo I’ve ever taken (it was early this morning and I didn’t have the camera on a tripod), but I love this new lens my mom gave me. Thanks mom!

In other news, I’m still searching for jobs. I have hope that I’m going to at least get an interview soon.

A couple years ago my uncle Ed gave me a worn out cardboard box full of old cameras, flashes, and film. I’ve gone through them a little and looked up some info, but have recently started to come up with some sort of idea for putting together a document with images of the cameras and other equipment and all of the relevant info I can find. It should be an interesting project to work on. First, though, I really want to build some sort of light box for taking photos.

We’ve had a great weekend. All of our Christmas shopping is done except for me picking up some prints from Wolf Camera. Today we got some baking supplies for Sara to make gum drop cookies, oatmeal cookies, and monkey bread for Christmas morning. I’m about to cook some chicken shawarma and Sara is making some couscous.  Oh, also, Sara really likes her new slippers that my mom gave her.

It feels sorta lazy to take a photograph of flowers sitting on the table, but it’s better than nothing. I haven’t done much with my camera lately. Not really in the last year, sadly. These are from the flowers I gave to Sara for her birthday.
