Smashing Goals, Soldier Half Marathon

Sara beat her goal for the half marathon by a lot. It was so much fun to run with her for her first race. I’m glad she did well and enjoyed it.

This never gets old.

Unless something has gone terribly wrong, Sara and I should currently be running the Soldier Half Marathon in Columbus, Georgia. I figure this is as good a time as any to talk about how I keep track of my running. Or something like that.

Soldier Half Marathon

This afternoon Sara and I are driving to Columbus, Georgia to run the Soldier Half Marathon on Saturday morning. This will be Sara’s first half marathon, and my third. I’m really excited for her to experience a race and to be able to say she’s run a half marathon. (more…)

Sick

I now know what food poisoning is like. Thursday night was horrible and yesterday was pretty bad as well. I’m feeling a lot better today. That was a disgustingly bad experience.

Sara ran 12.5 miles on her own yesterday. We had planned on running together, but I was in no shape for that. Hopefully I’ll feel 100% tomorrow so I can get my long run in for the week.
